Day 1: When You Have Nothing Left But Faith
Devotional: Have you ever felt like you had tried everything? Every door closed. Every resource spent. Every option exhausted. That is exactly where this woman found herself after twelve long years of suffering. She had nothing left by the world's standards. No money. No status. No community. And yet, she had something that could not be taken from her. She had faith. Faith is not reserved for people who have it all together. It is often most powerful in the hands of someone who has nothing else to hold onto. This woman heard about Jesus, and something stirred inside her. She did not wait until conditions were perfect. She pressed through the crowd, weak and desperate, believing that one touch could change everything. And it did. Maybe you are in a season where the odds feel impossible. Maybe you have prayed the same prayer so many times that it feels like the words have worn thin. Take heart. God is not moved by your perfection. He is moved by your faith. Even a small, trembling, desperate faith is enough to get His attention. You are not too far gone. You are not too broken. You are exactly the kind of person Jesus stops for.

Day 2: Press Through One More Time

And before long, what once burned with expectation has gone cold. This woman could have turned back. The crowd was thick. Her body was weak. She had already been disappointed by everyone she had trusted for help. No one would have blamed her for staying home that day. But she did not stay home. She pressed through. There is something important in that word, pressed. It was not easy. It was not comfortable. It required everything she had left. But she kept moving toward Jesus, and that decision changed her life forever. The enemy often places his greatest resistance right before a breakthrough. Discouragement, exhaustion, and doubt tend to show up loudest when a blessing is closest. Do not let that be the moment you stop. Whatever you are facing today, whether it is a struggling relationship, a long-standing prayer, or a situation that seems impossible, you are being invited to press through one more time. The same Jesus who responded to her desperate faith sees yours too. He has not forgotten you. Keep moving toward Him.

Devotional: There is a lie that keeps a lot of people from coming to God. It sounds something like this: "I will come to Him once I have things figured out. Once I stop struggling. Once I am better." But that is not how Jesus works. This woman was considered ceremonially unclean. According to the law, everything she touched became unclean as well. She had no right to be in that crowd. She had no right to reach out and touch the hem of His garment. And yet, she did. And instead of Jesus becoming defiled by her uncleanness, she was made whole by His holiness. That is the miracle within the miracle. She did not clean herself up before she came to Him. She came broken, desperate, and unworthy by every outward measure. And He did not turn her away. He stopped. He acknowledged her. He called her daughter. God is not waiting for you to have it all together before He will receive you. He is not standing at a distance, arms crossed, waiting for you to earn your way back. He is reaching toward you right now, just as you are. Come to Him in your mess, in your weakness, in your shame. What religion cannot fix, redemption already has.

Devotional; Twelve years is a long time to carry something painful. Twelve years of isolation. Twelve years of shame. Twelve years of being told, in one way or another, that you do not belong. But the moment this woman touched the hem of Jesus' garment, all of that changed. Not just physically, but completely. Jesus did not send her away quietly. He called her out, not to embarrass her, but to declare something over her life in front of everyone watching. He called her daughter. He told her to go in peace. He said she was whole. Her past did not follow her into that moment. Her identity was no longer defined by her condition. It was defined by her encounter with Christ. That is exactly what happens when any person comes to faith in Jesus. You are no longer identified by your failures, your setbacks, or your worst moments. You are identified as a child of the living God. An heir. Forgiven. Restored. Whole. You are not called to drag your past behind you for the rest of your life. You are called to walk in the freedom that Christ has already purchased for you. Let His presence define who you are today, not what you have been through.

And in one moment, Jesus welcomed her back in. Not just to the community, but into His own family. That same welcome is extended to you today. No matter how long you have been carrying something heavy, no matter how far you feel from God, He is not looking at you with disappointment. He is looking at you with love. He wants to draw you close, not push you away. You are not called to live in regret and misery. You are called to an abundant life, a life of peace, wholeness, and purpose. The same Jesus who stopped for her is stopping for you right now. Come to Him. Reach out in faith. And hear Him say your name.
