Pastor Chris Rumfelt has been the Senior Pastor at First Free Will Baptist Church since November of 2005. Since this time the church has grown from a small storefront to a campus with a 1,000 seat congregation with a Pre-K through 8th grade Christian Academy. Pastor Chris hosts two weekly radio programs and a television program, “Back To Our Foundation.” He also travels and speaks for schools and churches weekly and is the area representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Pastor Chris graduated with a B.S. degree in sports science from Mars Hill University and is an avid fan of the University of Alabama Football. Pastor Chris is married to Crystal Douthit Rumfelt formerly of Franklin NC. They have 4 childrens: Braden, Kellen, Calista, and Colter.
 

 

Chad Sisum serves as the Youth pastor at First Free Will Baptist Church. Chad is committed to helping students grow in their faith, build lasting relationships, and live out their purpose in the world. Chad and his wife Andrea are true servants of the Lord and have a strong desire to impact the lives of young people and create, welcoming space for them to encounter God's love. When not at church you may find Pastor Chad working on his farm tending to his horses and cows, or working on his John
Deere tractor. 

Lucas serves as the Minister of Music at First Free Will Baptist Church and is also an ordained deacon in the church. Lucas learned to play the piano at a very young age, and has been leading worship at First Free Will Baptist Church since 2005. Lucas is married to Chelsey Lindsey Phillips and has two boys, Callan and Blake. When not at church Lucas enjoys camping with his family and friends and spending time on Lake Chatuge. 

Victoria Morhardt currently serves as Office Secretary at First Free Will Baptist Church. Victoria is married to Chris Morhardt and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Her youngest daughter attends Carolina Christian Academy. Victoria has worked for financial institutions  and housing title businesses for many years, while serving in various areas of church ministry. She enjoys being a mom, grandmother, wife, and most of all serving the Lord.
